The Holmes Law Firm provides ADR services for the neutral, efficient, timely and just resolution of complex and intractable disputes.

The firm was founded in 1990 by business lawyer, patent attorney and Information Technology (IT) law expert Reginald A. Holmes. Its initial focus was the representation of clients with intellectual property, international law, business, executive, employee, and representative termination and venture capital issues.

Since then, the Holmes Law Firm has evolved and concentrated on utilizing alternative dispute resolution methods and techniques to resolve disputes across the full spectrum of human endeavor. Equipped with tremendous professional and life experience in the ranks of its members, the firm seeks to successfully resolve the most complex, intractable and interesting of disputes. Amounts in disputes have ranged from a few thousand dollars to more than one hundred million dollars. Services are delivered primarily in the capacity of an Arbitrator, Mediator, Conciliator, Facilitator, Special Master, private judge and/or Private Justice. The Holmes Law Firm still represents and advocates for public, corporate and private clients but on a limited and selective basis within its areas of expertise and interests.

The firm’s motto effectively encapsulates its mission: “we engineer just resolutions for complex disputes.” As may be noted from the preceding paragraphs, this mission did not materialize overnight or out of thin air. Rather, it evolved over the course of many years from a deep and abiding passion for choosing our clients carefully and zealously representing them in their quest to obtain fair and honorable results to what we do today—the utilization of our professional skills in law, business and Alternative Dispute Resolution to obtain fair and just results (“Private Justice”) for all of our service users in complex intractable real world disputes and conflicts.

Either directly or through its teams and partners, the firm has a significant presence in Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, Washington, D.C., and Atlanta. In addition, the firm conducts business throughout North America, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and the English-speaking world.
